The Store Oxford

Aside from the property being perfectly located, my room was bright, spacious & spotless, and I was especially impressed with the bed size as a tall woman! It was ridiculously comfortable and melted my jet lag after a long journey from the US. I miss the heated towel bar in the bathroom already, what a special touch! Treadwell, the hotel's restaurant, was a standout experience in its own right. The concept honoring the local area, was beautifully thought-out and the execution was truly next level. Every dish felt like a piece of art and as a vegetarian I was so excited the menu had so many options for me! Even the glassware elevated the experience. If you haven't tried their gin, you MUST. And then there's the rooftop terrace... absolutely breathtaking. With panoramic views of Oxford's skyline, it's the perfect place to start your evening or wind down after a day of exploring. What really sets this place apart is the sense that everything has been handpicked & curated with intention. Thank you for having me, I can't wait to come back!

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel in Oxford. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing. I spent some time in the spa, which was beautifully decorated and offered a real sense of calm. I treated myself to a facial, and it was one of the best I’ve had—so soothing and expertly done. Afterwards, I enjoyed a delicious lunch in the restaurant; the food was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. The service throughout was attentive and friendly. A truly lovely visit—I left feeling refreshed and well looked after.

The staff couldn't have been more friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room was well appointed and clean. The location was within walking distance of every location in Oxford proper that I needed. My only issue was the lack of a taxi space in front of the hotel.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at The Store recently and genuinely didn’t want to leave. From the moment we arrived, the team were warm, friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is beautifully styled with so much character and attention to detail. The room was immaculate, and the personalised touches and little comments from the team made us feel truly special. Every meal was delicious, and the service throughout was faultless. The rooftop bar is a fantastic space, whether you want to relax inside or enjoy the view outside. We stayed for 2 nights for my Son's wedding. The entire team could not have been any more customer focussed. The bed was a delight to sleep in, the bedding was clean, crisp and lovely. The pillows were absolutely fantastic, the best we have ever slept on. The room was very clean and the in-room the facilities were on point. The cost of the room is absolutely appropriate and reflects the quality of facilities and team supplied by the hotel. We would highly recommend this hotel to all our family and friends. Thank you. The on-site restaurant was a highlight: every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Whether it was breakfast or dinner, the quality of the food and service exceeded expectations. What really stood out was the genuine friendliness of the staff. It’s clear they take pride in what they do, and it made all the difference.
